History
The church at Tillicoultry was dedicated to St Serf. It was once part of the Abbey of Cambuskenneth. Between 1581 and 1682 the parish of Alva was united to Tillicoultry. After the union of 1929 the congregation was known as Tillicoultry St Serf's until its union with Tillicoultry West in 1976.
