Wallace High School was founded in 1971 as a six year comprehensive, non-denominational school to serve the north side of Stirling, the old Burgh of Bridge of Allan and the village of Fallin. In April 2008. The school moved to a new building on Airthrey Road.

Archival history
The records of Wallace High School were most likely transferred to the Central Regional Council Archives by Stirling Burgh after the local government reorganisation of 1975. They have been held at the Archives since that date with the exception SG7/1/1 which was transferred from Falkirk Archives in 2014.
